ONLINE JOURNALISM TRAINING FOR SAUT JOURNALISM DEPARTMENT - MWANZA

First day of the Internet Training for University Lecturers workshop which is held at Saint Augustine University of Tanzania in Mwanza.

The workshop scheduled for September 7 - 10, 2016 aims at introducing participants on how to effectively make use of the internet in modern journalism for fact-finding, news monitoring, communication and publication with the purpose of creating balanced and critical high-quality journalism for any media.

The training also among other things explains how internet and other digital media have changed the world of communication and media. It also exposes participants to practical exercises where they practice how to search for information through the internet and also how to publish journalistic content online.

It is organised by MISA Tanzania and the Finish Media Foundation (VIKES) with support from Finish Ministry of Foreign Affairs
